Rossbrook is open 365 days of the year, 24 hours on weekends or any school holidays. Founded in 1976, Rossbrook House is a neighbourhood centre for children, youth, and young adults. It offers a constant alternative to the destructive environment of the streets.
At her investiture into the Order of Canada in 1983, Rossbrook House founder Sister Geraldine MacNamara captured the essence of its mission:
No child who does not want to be alone, should ever have to be.
